I’m Stephen Nock, a coach and facilitator with 12+ years of experience in fast-paced, mission-driven tech start-ups across the US and Germany.
Purpose
📍As an expat living and working in Berlin since 2017, I understand the complexity of navigating career and identity in a foreign country, especially in times of change.
💬 The most frequent comment from my clients is that I help them feel calmness, something they rarely knew they were missing to stop the spiral and take clear, focused action.
—For many people, work doesn’t “work.” My goal as a coach and facilitator is to increase the likelihood that more people have more good moments (at work) more often.
—Teams need a clear direction, the right tools, and a supportive environment to grow, develop, and succeed.
Success can only be measured if it is defined, which is why I empower individuals, teams, and managers to define their goals and support them in formulating a plan to achieve the objective. As a coach, I provide the mirror for the client(s) to see, communicate, and pursue their intentions and their progress.
Coaching
I work with early- and mid-career professionals, particularly those in transition, like expats, who might feel stuck, burned out, or lost in transition. Whether you’re figuring out your next career move or rediscovering what meaningful work looks like for you, I offer a calm, structured space to regain clarity, rebuild confidence, and move forward with intention.
For people receiving unemployment support in Germany, I can also support AVGS-funded coaching and Gründungszuschuss applications for those starting freelance work or job-seeking, offering guidance through both the practical steps and the emotional terrain. Workshops
I also support teams and business leaders to manage change and build workplaces where people thrive. As a facilitator, I won’t dictate what change you need, but I will help you build customer and employee relationships built on integrity, well-managed expectations, and clear communication.
